Yep, you read that correctly. I’ve deleted every post I made on this blog over the last year or so, I don’t really know how long it’s been. But, I did it. I want to start fresh. I want a method that will be easier for me to handle, and I want the ghosts of what I’ve already written to be gone.
So, with that said, I’ll be starting over! And this time…it’ll be anime reviews of the current season! I know I’m behind by a few weeks (sorry about that), and I know I’ve been gone for close to two months now (mental health issues–I may have kept that post), but I have a game plan that I think will work better for me in the long run. Over the last two months I’ve barely watched any anime (a sad, sad time), but I’m happily watching again!
A while back I was trying to post every single day, or multiple times a day, and doing that along with the job I’m working completely wore me out. Writing a post, working eight hours, and then coming home to write a second or potentially third post about whatever it was I was writing about back then was brutal. I was barely sleeping as it was and going through the process of how I set my posts up took a huge toll on me.
Now…now, I have a better plan. I’m going to review a few of the shows for the summer season that I’ve started (I think it’ll only be four, I might add a fifth), but I should be able to manage that considering they release on different days throughout the week.
Currently I am watching these shows:
- HANEBADO!
- Harukana Receive (something about volleyball anime gets me going–thanks, Haikyuu!!…)
- How Not to Summon a Demon Lord (geez, three anime that start with H…okay)
- The Master of Ragnarok and Blesser of Einherjar
The shows I’m watching air on Crunchyroll Thursday-Sunday (although most of you probably already knew that), so I should be getting posts out four days every week even with my job (they’ll be at different times during the day considering I ALWAYS…ALWAYS! work 1400-2200 hours, or 2pm-10pm for you 12hr clock folk)!
I think I’ll be able to do that. AND…and, I won’t be doing the pro/con reviews that I used to do, that was too brutal on my head and took away from my viewing experience. Instead, I’m just going to talk about them briefly and give my opinion (which anyone is happy to disagree with! I enjoy good conversation like that).
So yeah! I’m happy to be back watching anime and enjoying my time! It’s freaking wonderful! Woohoo! 🙂
Wow, what a bold thing to do. This season looks promising, and I hope you have fun watching as well as reviewing it!
