Hello all you wonderful people!
It’s me! It’s Alexie the Great! I’m back! I’m serious this time, too. If you’ve been following me since somewhere around late-2018 through 2019 you might know that my computer died some time around August of last year. I FINALLY GOT ANOTHER ONE A FEW DAYS AGO!!!
Since then, I’ve been busy busy busy. I also had some crazy fun back in November 2019 with the Panda Gang by attending Kumoricon in Portland, Oregon. I was there with my teammates Alyssa and Ben from November 14-November 18, which was awesome. The only bad time I had during the trip was trying to get home! Yeah, my flight was delayed twice while trying to leave Portland (I left at 2:30am PST), and then my connecting flight in Chicago was delayed while trying to get back to Michigan (I left there at 11:45am CST)… So, that was fun. I got home around 1:00pm on November 20th.
Anyway, here are some pictures from my trip to Oregon:
I had a blast in the Pacific Northwest, but it’s been back to normalcy since then–a change in the hours I work daily, the amount of work I’m doing, and whatever else I’m doing in life. But enough about that. Let’s get into something else: what I’m watching this season!
Almost nothing! I haven’t seen much anime since I changed the hours I’ve had to be at work, and even though I’m more used to working 6am-2pm five days a week, I still haven’t been watching much. Currently, I was watching Tower of God and Digimon Adventure. I ALSO SAW THE VIOLET EVERGARDEN MOVIE AND OH MY GOD WAS THAT GOOD! AHH!!!! YES, I CRIED. YES, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. WATCH IT IF YOU HAVEN’T!!!
I tried to keep myself from taking on too many shows this season, and I think that was a good choice in hindsight because a lot is getting delayed, or cancelled, or whatever as you all know. What does that mean for me? It means I can watch random anime from years ago that I never got around to, or that I enjoyed, or whatever. I’m not sure what I’ll be watching to keep myself busy, but I’ll find some shows. **If you have any suggestions I’d love to hear them so I can binge-watch something exciting or intriguing or mind-boggling.**
And that’s really it for me right now. I’ll still be around and I’ll also be posting on KawaiiPaperPandas again once I figure out which day we need to have posts written on there! That should be fun!
Thanks for reading!
Alexie 🙂
