Hello all you wonderful people! I hope you’ve been well (physically, mentally, and emotionally) in the past few days, or weeks, or months!
It’s time for another blog post! This time: my favorite English-speaking voice actors. Yep. First, though, I have a bit of information to tell you.
- I no longer watch dubbed anime with the exception of a few anime titles. Why? Because, in my honest opinion, I think the Japanese-speaking voice actors get more emotion and dive deeper into the characters they voice than English-speaking voice actors do.
- This list is going to be small, and I’m not going to list any of the characters these voice actors have done—partially because that would be a long list for all of them, and partially because I’m not sure it really matters.
With that out of the way it’s time for my list! There are seven voice actors on here in no particular order. Let’s get to it!
- Todd Haberkorn
- Johnny Yong Bosch
- Steve Blum
- Colleen Clinkenbeard
- Monica Rial
- Robert McCollum
- Brittney Karbowski
And that does it! I’m not sure if any of you still watch dubbed anime, but if you do I’d love to know some of your favorite voice actors! Maybe we have some in common, maybe we have none in common, and maybe we could have a conversation about a few of their roles—who knows!
Anyway, that’s all from me this time around! Also, if you keep up with my posts, I should have another Haikyuu!! post out soon. I went though and deleted my entire draft for the second post I had planned because I didn’t think it was written well enough, but that’s writing, yeah? It’ll be out soon!
Thanks for reading!

I’m a big fan of Johnny Yong Bosch. Dude plays a lot of good characters, and does a great job bringing them to life. Plus he’s a pretty singer when not acting. I also like Monica Rial. Her voice is instantly recognizable to me, and it’s always comforting hearing her in some capacity. I know she gets a lot of hate, but she a lot going for her that I just can’t help, but like her. Steve Blum, dude has a cool voice. Can make anyone sound cool.

I can recognize Monica Rial any time. She has such a distinct voice, and I love the roles she takes. As for Steve Blum, I think he’s fantastic and can really bring any villain to life. When I first saw The Legend of Korra I was so happy he was voicing the season one antagonist Amon. That man is awesome.
